How to join


 
Membership Requirements
  1. The prospective member must complete an application
  2. The prospective member must attend the Board of Directors meeting any 2nd Thursday of the month at 8pm. Please notify the club president to be placed on the agenda.
  3. The completed application will be voted on for acceptance by the Board members. 
  4. The club bylaws and safety regulations will be reviewed with the new member.
  5. New members must be a NRA member or join at the time of application at the club.
  6. The Director of Safety & Education will assign a training committee member to work with the new member on range safety, range and club operation.

Membership categories

  • Associate Members – This is the main category for adult members initially joining the club. Associate Members do not have a key, may not vote and may not hold office. 
     
  • Key Holding Members – After a six month period of probation, participation in four general membership meetings (one of which should be the October meeting) and eight hours of service to the club, Associate Members must be sponsored by three Voting Members and approved by vote to become Key Holding Members. If approved, they must then purchase one building certificate ($125) to receive a key and key card to the Indoor Range. Key Holding Members may not vote and may not hold office. 
     
  • Voting Members – Key Holding Members must purchase a second building certificate ($125) by November 30 of the following year to retain the key, key card and become a Voting member. Voting Members enjoy all Club privileges, may vote and hold office. 
     
  • Life Members – Life Members are Voting Members, who have reached the age of sixty-five (65) and have at least fifteen (15) years of continuous voting membership. Life Members are exempt from paying annual dues. 
     
  • Honorary Members – Honorary Members are appointed by the Board of Directors and approved by the membership with privileges as directed by the Board of Directors. Honorary Members are exempt from paying annual dues. 
     
  • Junior Members – Junior Members must be sponsored and supervised by a Voting member. Junior membership shall cease when the Junior Member is eligible to become an Associate Member at age twenty-one (21). Junior Member dues are one-tenth (1/10) of the regular annual dues.
